Short Biography of Master Tiet Qiao San*
*Tiet
Qiao San who lived in at the end of the XVIII-th - at
the first of half of the XIX-th century and kept
traditions of the School of the Southern Shaolin was a
well-known master of the style "Iron Thread". He held the second place among the "Ten Tigers of
Guangdong" - ten greatest masters of the Southern
China. He shared his mastership with several disciples,
including Ling Fu Chen who was the tutor of Wong Fei
Hung. Wong Fei Hung was one of masters in kung fu, best
known in China and in the West, a character of many books and
films ("Once upon a time in China" and others). In the
thirties of the XX-th century Lam Sai Wing, the
close disciple and follower of Wong Fei Hung, wrote a
text-book on the style of "Iron Thread". Now this book has been translated into English and published in electronic format on our site.
